Embedded accounts

Embedded accounts will be platform-managed sub-accounts that receive funds via transfers rather than processing card payments directly. For creating sub-accounts today, see Standalone Accounts.

Balances

Account balances will track funds from settled charges. The API endpoints exist but balances are not currently created for any accounts.

Account sessions

Account sessions will provide temporary, time-limited URLs for directing account holders through a hosted boarding flow. A platform creates a session for a standalone account, specifying a return_url and refresh_url, and receives a URL to send the account holder to. The hosted flow collects outstanding requirements (such as KYC information) needed to activate requested capabilities. Sessions expire after one hour.

Payouts

Payouts will let you transfer balance funds to an external bank account. They depend on balances, which are also upcoming.
